Team and Research Group Development

Designed for 1st year PhD students, this course provides an opportunity to build your project planning and management skills through team-based exercises with other research students. The course is designed to help you work more effectively during your PhD and has been developed by experts from industry, academia and other sectors to ensure the skills are relevant to future careers. During the course you will:

Who should attend

The course is suitable for all postgraduate research students, particularly those in the first year of a research degree. Attendance is free for postgraduate students registered with the University of Edinburgh.
